Why Cable Tray Master

A manufacturer you can buy direct from, and audit

Cable Tray Master is a cable tray manufacturer and exporter under one owner. We make the tray on our own line in China and ship it with our own export team, so the price is factory-direct, the specification is made to order, and buyers are welcome to visit and audit the plant.

Cost-effective indoors

Pre-galvanized steel is coated as flat sheet before cutting, which keeps the cost down for the large dry indoor runs that make up most of a building. It is the economical default where the tray is not exposed to weather.

Economical indoor finish

Colour when you need it

For projects that want a specific colour or an extra coating layer, the same tray can be powder-coated in a project colour on request, baked to a hard finish.

Powder coat, colour on request

One matched system

Same slots, same fittings and same production line as the hot-dip tray, so a project can mix indoor and outdoor tray from one supplier and one system.

Matched to the HDG range

What the CTM-PT-PC is, and who it is for

This is the same perforated cable tray in a pre-galvanized or powder-coated finish, chosen for dry indoor environments where a full hot-dip coating is not required. Plant rooms, electrical risers, data centres, telecom rooms and commercial buildings are the natural home for it: the run is protected from weather, so a lighter, lower-cost finish does the job.

Pre-galvanized steel is coated as flat sheet before it is cut and folded, which keeps the cost down for indoor use. Where a project wants a specific colour or an extra coating layer, the tray can be powder-coated instead, in a project colour on request. Both finishes keep the same ventilation slots and the same family of fittings as the hot-dip tray.

Like the rest of our range, it is made in our own factory, so width, height and thickness are produced to your specification. It is the cost-effective choice for the large indoor cable runs that make up most of a building, while the hot-dip version handles the outdoor and corrosive sections.

Powder coat on request

Where a project needs a colour or an extra coating layer, the same tray can be powder-coated in a project colour.

Same ventilation slots

The same slotted floor and walls as the hot-dip tray, so heat escapes and cables tie down the same way.

Same fitting family

Bends, tees, reducers, covers and supports match across finishes, so a project can mix indoor and outdoor tray from one system.

Made to your section

Produced in our own plant to the width, height and thickness your project bill of materials calls for.

Export packing

Nested and crated for export the same way as the rest of the range.

How it works

1

When to choose pre-galvanized

Pre-galvanized tray is coated as flat steel sheet before it is cut, which is cheaper than dipping every finished tray in zinc. The trade-off is that the cut edges are left bare, so it is meant for dry, protected indoor runs where those edges will not be exposed to weather. For most of a building, plant rooms, risers, ceilings and data halls, that is exactly the condition, which is why pre-galvanized is the economical default indoors.

2

When to add powder coating

Powder coating sprays a dry paint powder onto the tray and bakes it to a hard finish. Projects use it when they want a specific colour (to match a scheme or to code-mark a service) or an extra protective layer over the galvanizing. It is an on-request finish, so tell us the colour or specification and we will confirm it for the order.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I use this instead of hot-dip galvanized?
Use the pre-galvanized or powder-coated tray for dry, protected indoor runs, plant rooms, risers, ceilings, data centres and commercial buildings, where the tray is not exposed to weather. Use the hot-dip galvanized tray for outdoor, rooftop, tunnel and wet or corrosive sections. Most projects use both: this tray for the indoor runs and hot-dip for the exposed ones.
Can I get it in a specific colour?
Yes. The tray can be powder-coated in a project colour on request. Tell us the colour or specification (for example a RAL number) and we will confirm it for your order.
Does it use the same fittings as the hot-dip tray?
Yes. The bends, tees, reducers, covers, splice plates and supports are the same family across finishes, so a project can mix pre-galvanized indoor tray and hot-dip outdoor tray from one matched system.
What widths and thicknesses are available?
Widths run from 100 to 1000 mm with side heights typically 25 to 150 mm, and sheet thickness set per order, usually in the 0.8 to 1.5 mm range for indoor use. Send us your requirement and we will confirm the section.
Are certificates available?
Test and compliance documentation is confirmed per market and per order. Tell us your destination country and the standard your project requires, and we will share what applies. We do not claim certifications we cannot back up.
What is the minimum order and lead time?
MOQ and lead time depend on the widths, finishes and quantities you need and are confirmed on inquiry. Send us your specification and we will come back with MOQ, price and lead time.
