Why Cable Tray Master

A manufacturer you can buy direct from, and audit

Cable Tray Master is a cable tray manufacturer and exporter under one owner. We make the tray on our own line in China and ship it with our own export team, so the price is factory-direct, the specification is made to order, and buyers are welcome to visit and audit the plant.

A complete support system

Strut channel is only as useful as its fittings. We supply the channel with the brackets, beam clamps, channel nuts, threaded rod and end caps that bolt it to the structure and to your tray or conduit, so the framing goes up without site welding.

Full fitting family

Finish for the environment

Pre-galvanized for dry indoor plant, hot-dip galvanized for outdoor and damp runs, and stainless for corrosive and coastal sites, matched to where the cable tray it carries is installed.

Pre-galv / HDG / stainless

One contact for the whole run

Buying the support channel from the same supplier as the tray, conduit and boxes means one quote, one order and one shipment for the containment and its framing.

One-stop supply

What the CTM-SC is, and who it is for

Strut channel, also known as support or mounting channel, is the cold-formed steel backbone that holds a services run in place. A C-shaped channel with an inturned lip lets a channel nut drop in and lock, so brackets, clamps and threaded rod bolt up anywhere along its length without drilling a fresh hole or welding on site. It is what a cable tray, a bank of conduit or a run of pipe actually hangs from.

We supply the channel in the common 41 mm sections, slotted or plain and single or back-to-back, with the full family of fittings: flat and angle brackets, beam and girder clamps, channel nuts, threaded rod, spring nuts and end caps. Finishes run from pre-galvanized for dry indoor plant to hot-dip galvanized and stainless for outdoor, damp and corrosive sites, so the support matches the tray it carries. Sections, gauge and finish are confirmed per order.

Built to do the job on site

Drop-in channel nuts

The inturned lip lets a channel nut lock anywhere along the run, so fittings bolt up without drilling or welding on site.

Finish to match the tray

Pre-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized or stainless, chosen for the same environment as the cable tray it supports.

Slotted or plain, single or back-to-back

Common 41 mm sections in slotted or plain, and doubled back-to-back where the span or load needs a stiffer member.

Full fitting family

Brackets, beam clamps, channel nuts, threaded rod and end caps supplied together so the framing goes up as one system.

The common sections are 41 × 41 mm and 41 × 21 mm, slotted or plain, single or back-to-back, in a range of gauges. Tell us the load and span and the tray or conduit it will carry, and we confirm the exact section, gauge and finish for your order.
Do you supply the fittings as well as the channel?
Yes. We supply the full family: flat and angle brackets, beam and girder clamps, channel nuts, threaded rod, spring nuts and end caps, so the support framing bolts together without site welding.
What finishes are available?
Pre-galvanized for dry indoor plant, hot-dip galvanized for outdoor and damp runs, and stainless steel for corrosive and coastal sites. We help you match the finish to the environment of the tray it supports.
Is the strut channel certified?
