Why Cable Tray Master

A manufacturer you can buy direct from, and audit

Cable Tray Master is a cable tray manufacturer and exporter under one owner. We make the tray on our own line in China and ship it with our own export team, so the price is factory-direct, the specification is made to order, and buyers are welcome to visit and audit the plant.

Ventilated and visible

The open welded weave keeps every cable ventilated and in view, which is why data centres and IT rooms specify basket tray for dense data and light-power cabling.

Fully open weave

Fastest tray to install

Cut to length and bent around corners on site with a hand cutter, joined with wire couplers, so runs branch and re-route without waiting for matched fittings.

On-site cut and bend

Finish for the room

Economical electro-galvanized for clean server rooms, hot-dip galvanized for damp sections, and stainless for food, pharma and coastal sites.

What the CTM-WM is, and who it is for

A wire mesh, or basket, tray is a welded steel wire grid formed into a shallow U. It is the tray of choice for data centres, server rooms, telecom and IT cabling, because its open weave keeps every cable visible and fully ventilated, which matters where hundreds of data and light-power cables run side by side and any hot spot is a problem.

Its biggest advantage is speed on site. A basket tray is cut to length and bent around corners with a simple hand cutter, so an installer can branch, drop and re-route a run without waiting for special bends and tees. That makes it the natural fit for fit-outs and fast-changing IT rooms, where the cabling grows and changes over the life of the building. A smooth, safe top edge protects the cable jackets as they are laid in and pulled out.

We make the basket tray in our own factory, in widths from 50 to 600 mm and a range of finishes, from economical electro-galvanized for clean indoor rooms to hot-dip galvanized and stainless for tougher environments. It ships with the wire couplers, supports and fixings needed to build and hang the run.

How it works

1

Why basket tray in data centres

Data and light-power cabling comes in high density and changes often. A basket tray answers both: its open weave lets air move freely so nothing overheats, and its wire structure is trimmed and bent on site so a technician can add a drop or reroute a bundle in minutes, without ordering a matched bend. Cables stay visible for inspection, and the smooth top edge means the jackets are not damaged as they are pulled in and out over the life of the room.

2

Finish and wire diameter

Electro-galvanized (EZ) is the economical, clean finish for indoor server and telecom rooms. Hot-dip galvanized suits damp or outdoor sections, and stainless steel (SS304 or SS316) is used in food, pharma and coastal environments. Wire diameter, usually 4 to 6 mm, sets how much the tray can carry between supports; we confirm the diameter, mesh pitch and finish for your load and environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a wire mesh (basket) tray best for?
It is best for data, telecom and light-power cabling, especially in data centres, server rooms and IT fit-outs, where the open weave keeps cabling ventilated and visible and the tray can be cut and re-routed on site as the cabling changes.
Do I need special bends and tees?
No. Basket tray is cut to length and bent around corners on site with a simple cutter, and joined with wire couplers, so you do not need to order matched bends and tees the way you do for a solid tray. That is why it installs so fast.
What finishes are available?
Electro-galvanized (EZ) for clean indoor rooms, hot-dip galvanized for damp or outdoor sections, and stainless steel (SS304 or SS316) for food, pharma and coastal environments. We help you choose for your room.
What widths and wire diameters do you make?
Widths run from 50 to 600 mm with heights from 30 to 100 mm, in wire diameters usually 4 to 6 mm. Wire diameter sets how much the tray carries between supports; we confirm it with the mesh pitch and finish for your load.
Are certificates available?
Test and compliance documentation is confirmed per market and per order. Tell us your destination country and the standard your project requires, and we will share what applies.
Can we visit the factory?
Yes. We are a manufacturer and exporter under one owner, so buyers are welcome to visit and audit the plant before ordering.
