Qué es el CTM-FMC y para quién es
FMC, flexible metal conduit, is made by winding an interlocked steel strip into a tube that bends. It exists for the places a rigid conduit cannot reach: the last run into a motor, pump, transformer or light fitting, where the connection has to turn a tight corner or absorb the vibration and movement of running equipment. A rigid joint in that position would work loose or crack; FMC flexes with the machine.
As a product category, FMC is defined by UL 1. We supply it in the common trade sizes with the straight and angle connectors that terminate it neatly into a box or enclosure, and confirm size, construction, finish and any product-specific certification with you per order and per destination market. For wet or oily locations, a liquid-tight version is available on request.
